A tech PR agency that makes the story matter

Notably PR helps technology companies turn complex products into stories people care about. We run media relations, executive thought leadership and AI visibility for mid-market companies, with a special focus on AI and B2B SaaS.

A product can be impressive and still be hard to cover. We find the customer problem, the unexpected number or the change in how people work that gives a reporter a reason to pay attention.

Technology stories we’ve helped people see

Our work spans software, supplier data, biometrics and deep-tech hardware. These case studies show the story we found and the coverage it earned.

What your tech PR program can include

  • Positioning and story development. We translate what the technology does into why it matters, backed by customers, data and claims a reporter can check.
  • Product launches and company news. We build the story around the change for your market, then pitch the reporters whose readers have a reason to care.
  • Expert commentary. We find opportunities for your executives and specialists to explain news in your category, and bring them forward before the next announcement.
  • Bylines and thought leadership. We develop ideas and contributed articles for the trade and business outlets your audience reads.
  • Research and customer stories. We turn original findings and customer experience into evidence that gives a story weight.
  • AI visibility. We track how AI tools describe your company, which sources they cite and whether your name appears when buyers ask about your category.

Start with the audience, then choose the story

Technology buyers, business reporters and industry specialists need different things from the same company. A developer may care how a product works. A business reporter needs to understand what changes because it exists.

We talk with the people closest to the work, find the detail that an outsider would care about and choose the right outlet for that story. Trade coverage can reach a specialist directly and help establish the credibility a national reporter looks for. Aware’s work is one example of that progression.

Between launches, we keep the company part of the conversation through expert commentary, original ideas and bylines. You don’t need a product announcement every month to give a reporter something useful.

Find the right technology specialty

This is the broad view of our technology work. If your business fits one of these categories, the specialist pages go deeper.

  • PR for AI companies covers how to stand out when every company has an AI announcement.
  • B2B tech and SaaS PR covers complex software, customer stories and the gap between trade and business coverage.
  • Cybersecurity PR covers security research, expert credibility and the stakes behind technical claims.

Earn coverage. Measure what travels.

Coverage gives buyers an outside source to consult. It can also give AI tools a source to cite. Our AI visibility work checks whether your company appears in answers to relevant questions, what the answers say and where those answers come from.

We report coverage and AI-answer results separately. A placement is evidence of earned media; it doesn’t establish that an AI tool recommended you or that a buyer became a lead.

Who we work with

Notably works with mid-market companies, usually between $20 million and $500 million in revenue. Our technology experience includes companies at earlier stages, as the case studies above show. A fully remote senior team runs the work, and the team you meet is the team on your account.

On a first call, we’ll ask about your audience, business goals, customer proof and upcoming news. We’ll discuss where PR could help and what a realistic program would need.

FAQ

What does a tech PR agency do?

A tech PR agency helps technology companies earn coverage and build credibility through media relations, company news, expert commentary, research and thought leadership. Notably also tracks how AI tools describe companies and whether they appear in relevant answers.

Does Notably work with B2B software and AI companies?

Yes. AI and B2B SaaS are a special focus. Our published technology work includes TealBook, Edge Delta, Aware, Range and Rosotics. See the linked case studies for the work and results.

How is tech PR different from product marketing?

Product marketing explains the product and its value to buyers. Tech PR finds stories and expertise that outside publishers have a reason to cover. The two should share accurate positioning and customer evidence, while serving different editorial needs.

How do you measure a tech PR program?

Agree on the audience and goals first. Then assess the relevance and substance of coverage, whether key messages and experts appear, and what happens between announcements. If AI visibility is part of the work, track mentions, citations and accuracy on the same questions over time. Coverage counts alone don’t prove revenue.

Can you guarantee coverage in a particular outlet?

No. Editors and reporters decide what they publish. We can develop the story, make its claims checkable, pitch relevant reporters and report what happened.
