Skip the cover letter. A résumé tells us where you’ve worked… a pitch tells us how you think.

- Your HVAC tech is booked until March. Here’s why.
Hi Sam,
(I know you covered the trades comeback in May.) Here’s the next chapter, and nobody has the numbers yet: of home-service techs are booked more than six weeks out, based on jobs our client tracked this fall.
The twist? It isn’t a labor shortage.
Their CEO can walk you through the data before it goes public on . Want an early look?

Booked until March: why home repairs got so hard to schedule
Techs are busier than ever. New data says the reason isn’t a shortage of workers.
Notably PR is a PR and AI visibility agency for mid-market companies. We’re a fully remote senior team, and we’re always looking for media relations specialists who can find the story inside a business and get a reporter to care.
What to send
Up to three of your best pitches. The actual emails, subject lines included.
Add a link to the story each one landed. If you can, pick different kinds of stories… range counts!
How to redact
The coverage is public, so you don’t need to hide who the client was. Take out everything that isn’t:
- Embargoed numbers, dates or details that never ran
- Anything under NDA or shared with you in confidence
- Reporters’ email addresses and phone numbers
- Anyone’s personal information
When in doubt, swap it for [REDACTED]. We’re reading for the angle and the writing.
What we look for
- Range and creativity across your pitches
- How creative, sharp and specific each pitch is
- Whether you targeted the right person at the right outlet
On AI
You’re welcome to use it however you want. Just know we’re evaluating sharpness and originality, and AI tends to produce angles that sound like every other AI-written pitch in a reporter’s inbox (so the odds are your pitch is going to sound like someone else’s who leans on it).
Send us your best work.
There isn’t always a role open the day you apply. That’s fine! We keep strong submissions on file and reach out when there’s a fit.
We only hire people located in the U.S.
FAQ
Is Notably PR hiring?
Notably keeps an open call for media relations specialists instead of posting individual job listings. Send up to three of your best pitches, each with a link to the coverage it earned, and we’ll reach out when there’s a fit.
Is Notably remote?
Yes. Notably is a fully remote senior team, and we only hire people located in the U.S.
Can I apply from outside the U.S.?
No. Notably only hires people located in the U.S.
What does “senior” mean at Notably?
Years spent pitching and writing. We don’t count years at a certain job level or title. If you’ve been landing coverage for years, you’re who we’re looking for, whatever your title says.
Can I send pitches I wrote at another agency or in-house?
Yes. Most great pitches were written for someone else’s client. Coverage is public, so you don’t need to hide the client. Take out anything that isn’t public, like embargoed details, confidential information and reporters’ contact details.
What if my best pitch didn’t land?
Send the ones that did. We want to read the pitch and see the result side by side.
Can I use AI to write my pitches?
You’re welcome to use it however you want. We’re evaluating sharpness and originality, and AI tends to produce angles that sound like every other AI-written pitch in a reporter’s inbox.
